Same But Different

On March 2022, before I graduated Digital Hollywood University (Japan), I received a message from my junior, who was looking for a programmer in his grauduation progject in Digitial Game Development Seminar 2022. I promied him and I took part in game programming development for this graduation project.  

It has taken around 9 months to finish this project, and now I decieded to publish this project. Feel free to comment on this game!

Besides, this game is in Japanese only, so I have only built Windows version.

2022年3月中旬に、とあるデジタルハリウッド大学の後輩に頼まれて、2022年4月~2023年2月にプログラマーとして卒業制作に参加しました。

ちなみに、このゲームは日本語だけで、Windowsでプレイできます。

Controls 操作:

Left / Right - Move 移動

Space - Jump ジャンプ

T - Attack Enemy 敵を攻撃する

V- Change Control Character 操作キャラクターチェンジ

Left Ctrl - Crouch しゃがむ

E - Climb ladder 梯子を登る

Q - Use Item アイテムを使用する

Enter - Next message in Dialog ダイアログの次のメッセージを進める

Story(English):

Two brothers accidentally fell into a deep hole while searching for a sacred lake that is said to have magical powers. 

People there look like monsters and are called “Jin”. Buildings have weird structure with many strange looking plants. 

Jins know about humans and despises them, so they start chasing them. 

The brothers meet a bird named “Anqa”who helps them find their way out of that world.

ストーリー(日本語):

ある神話で代々伝わる不思議な力を持っていると言う聖なる湖を2人の兄弟が探していたときに、誤って深い穴に落ちてしまった。

人間は「ジン」と呼ばれるモンスターのように見え、建物の建築も違うというパラレルワールドに陥ってしまった。

ジンは人間の存在を知っていて、軽蔑しているので、２人を追いかけ始める。

最初に、兄弟がAnqaという鳥に出会い、彼らを手伝って神聖な湖についての秘密を伝え、2人についていく。
